Certified in 2004, but practicing since the 1980s, Rosemary serves her students an uplifting,
inspired regiment of healing poses and breath work, her goal being for every cell to
have a happy face. A professional bodybuilder since 1975, Rosemary believes that balance
is key for health, and truly understands yoga’s healing and restorative aspects;
it was Iyengar yoga that helped her recover from a serious back injury many years ago.
Nurturing and fun, Rosemary’s classes are Yogi Tree favorites, perfect for beginning
and advanced students alike.

Hatha Flow Yoga As a Mime Artist for over 30 years, Mitchel studied
many movement forms: Corporeal Mime, Russian Clown, Dance, Tai Chi, Aikido, Reiki and,
of course, Hatha Yoga. Yoga has been a part of his physical regimen for two decades
- but the real journey began in 2005, after an injury during a performance. At the time,
Evans was practicing the vigorous, athletic Astanga Yoga series. After his fall, not
only was he unable to practice the Astanga series, he was regularly awakened from sleep
by searing pain in his hip. For a year, Mitchel practiced only gentle, restorative poses,
slowly healing. During that time, he came to grips with chronic pain, the emotional
aspects of injury, and the mind’s resistance to recovery. Today, he has returned
to a full Vinyasa Yoga Practice with a deeper understanding of the poses, the breath,
and the power of a regular Yoga Practice upon the body and the Mind. He hopes to share
that with his students. He says, “Yoga is a superior way to increase our awareness
and resolve the illness and imbalance within us. I want to impart what my first Yoga
teacher, the late Billy Porter, gave to me: the joy and the freedom, that a Yoga Practice
can bring to your life.”
